Through the lens, on canvas and as a make-up artist, Shawn Flint Blair has transformed her passion for art imitating life into a successful career. Shawn discovered this at ten years old painting, drawing and sculpting faces. At twelve, with no formal training, she picked up a camera learning and mastering light and angle technique.

Photography by Shawn was later created encompassing her talent as a photographer and make-up artist for celebrities, professionals, models and candid personal portraits. She prefers using natural lighting to capture their true character. Her casual, unrehearsed and stress-less sessions are fun and spontaneous resulting in lasting relationships and return clients.

Shawn has traveled the world photographing people in exotic locations and her work has been featured in various publications. But she feels her greatest achievement is creating despite inevitable challenges. “There are situations when nothing seems to go right… it’s overcast, someone’s having a bad day and sometimes it shows in their eyes,” she admits. “I am most proud to overcome those problems and produce a product which is pleasing to my clients and me.”
